a score of 75 is required for an Energy Star Award.  Buildings must have 1 full year of data before qualifying.  The Lower Elementary School was recognized by State and Federal Officials for achieveing the Energy Star Award on December 18, 2012.  The Energy Star Award will be placed in the front trophy case at the Lower Elementary School.

Energy Tip
This is a good time to prepare rooms for summer break.  Lower blinds to prevent solar gain during cooling season (summer).  Unplug and clean out appliances such as refrigerators.
