Welcome to Gallatin County High School.  We are very excited about the 2020-21 school year.  Our building is nearing completion from its renovation.  Workers are finishing up the final stages of construction.  They should be out of the building by Labor Day.  We have updated the restrooms, built a new conference room and re-designed the entry to meet recommendations for Safe Schools.  I think you will be pleased with the results.

The 2020-21 school year will be challenging.  We are still experiencing the effects of Covid-19.  As you know, we are beginning the year with online instruction.  Our staff has spent numerous hours in planning and training to be more effective with our online format.  We would prefer to have our students in our building.  However, we are committed to providing the best educational experience possible for our students when we are forced to adapt with online instruction.  We will experience issues that we could not foresee.  Please feel free to call us at school if you are experiencing difficulties with the online instruction.

Hopefully, our students will return to school after the first quarter.  Quality instruction is our first priority, but we realize that socialization, extra-curricular events and emotional wellness are also very important components of a student’s education.  We look forward to returning to normalcy and interacting with our students.

Stay healthy and we look forward to seeing you soon.
